U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced on May 28 that it will launch a nationwide recruitment effort in June, providing job seekers with opportunities to explore careers in law enforcement, border security, and mission support. The agency will hold six recruitment events throughout the month, including both virtual webinars and in-person expos.

CBP is seeking candidates for a variety of positions such as officers, agents, and professionals in intelligence, technology, and administration fields. The agency’s responsibilities include intercepting illicit narcotics, combating human smuggling operations, preventing the entry of dangerous individuals into the United States, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

Recruiters will be present at each event to answer questions about available positions. Registration is currently open for all scheduled events. CBP states that it offers comprehensive training programs as well as competitive pay and benefits packages. New officers and agents may qualify for incentive payments of up to $60,000 depending on position type and location.

For additional information about career opportunities with CBP or details about upcoming recruitment events, interested individuals are encouraged to connect with recruiters online or visit the CBP Careers website. Information can also be found by following @CBPJobs on social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), it is America’s largest law enforcement organization with more than 69,000 employees who work across land borders, airspace routes, and maritime boundaries to enforce safe travel practices while ensuring economic prosperity through lawful trade.
