Ryan Mauro has provided insights into the recent U.S. military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities located at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. These sites were considered challenging targets due to their underground tunnels, with Natanz featuring particularly deep tunnels designed to resist even American bombs.

According to Mauro, Iran is expected to retaliate for these attacks. However, the Iranian leadership may exercise caution in their response to avoid triggering a more significant conflict that could result in an attack on Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei or his son.
