RH Strategic participated as the U.S. Media Partner at the 2025 Pacific NorthWest Economic Region (PNWER) Annual Summit, which brought together business leaders, policymakers, and community advocates from both the United States and Canada. The summit focused on cross-border collaboration and addressing significant regional issues such as energy security, trade innovation, and infrastructure.

During the event, RH Strategic presented three main strategies for Pacific Northwest leaders to enhance their messaging on national platforms. The first recommendation was to personalize stories by highlighting real-world examples that show how regional challenges affect individuals and communities. “Big-picture trends are important, but human stories are what stick. We encouraged attendees to highlight real-world examples of how regional challenges are impacting individuals and communities, as well as how innovative solutions are making a difference,” said representatives from RH Strategic.

The second strategy addressed the importance of digital communication. According to new industry data referenced at the summit, social media has become Americans’ primary news source over traditional outlets. This trend was confirmed by responses from summit attendees about their own news consumption habits. As a result, RH Strategic advised shifting content strategies toward shortform videos, graphics, and concise soundbites that perform well online: “Social media isn’t just where people scroll—it’s where they stay informed… Today’s attention economy favors digestible, dynamic content that travels well online.”

The third tactic emphasized finding common ground with federal policymakers by aligning local or regional narratives with national priorities such as energy policy or economic development: “By aligning your local or regional story with national priorities, you increase your chances of capturing the attention and support of decision-makers.”

Attendees also took part in informal polls on topics like favorite foods and clothing preferences unique to the region.

RH Strategic is based in Seattle and Washington D.C., providing public relations services nationwide with additional global reach through its membership in Worldcom Public Relations Group.
