A townhall meeting focused on abortion policy is scheduled for tonight in Des Moines, Iowa, marking the upcoming one-year anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision. The event will bring together several national and state figures to discuss the implications of the ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade.

Participants include U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, Bob Vander Plaats, president and CEO of The Family Leader, Mayra Rodriguez, a former Planned Parenthood director and whistleblower, and Tony Perkins, president of Family Research Council.

The townhall aims to address questions about whether the responsibility for protecting unborn children now lies solely with individual states following the Dobbs decision. Organizers also plan to discuss how pro-life voters may respond to political candidates who avoid taking clear positions on abortion policy.

The event will take place at Experience Church in Des Moines at 7:00 p.m. Central Time and will be available via livestream at https://prayvotestand.org/townhall.

A press availability with the hosts is scheduled immediately after the event for attending media representatives.
