Today, Independent Women released a statement regarding the recent Israeli precision strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Meaghan Mobbs, director of the Center for American Safety and Security at Independent Women, expressed support for Israel’s actions.

“We stand with Israel. Last night’s precision strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities and senior members of the regime was an act of necessity. A nuclear-armed Iran is an existential threat not just to Israel, but to global stability and the free world,” Mobbs stated.

Mobbs described the operation as “targeted, disciplined, and deliberate,” emphasizing that it was directed at the Iranian regime rather than its people. She criticized the Iranian regime for terrorizing its citizens, causing regional instability, and violating international law while advancing towards nuclear capability.

“No sovereign nation should be expected to wait patiently for its own annihilation,” Mobbs remarked. She noted that Israel acted in defense of its future and suggested that this action might inspire the Iranian people to seek a future free from tyranny.

Mobbs concluded by expressing hope for peace but stressed that it is unattainable when dangerous weapons are controlled by dangerous leaders. “Israel showed courage. The free world should show resolve,” she said.
