Today, the Independent Women’s Forum praised the Trump administration for its actions to protect children from certain medical procedures. President Trump’s executive order in his first week banned federal funding and support for “gender-affirming care” for minors. Following this, major hospitals like Yale New Haven Health and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center announced they would stop performing these procedures on children.

Beth Parlato, senior legal advisor for Independent Women’s Law Center, stated: “President Trump has turned his promise to protect our children from irreversible chemical and surgical mutilation into concrete, life-saving results. The growing list of hospitals and health systems across the country that are halting these dangerous procedures proves that leadership matters.”

Prisha Mosley, a detransitioner and ambassador for Independent Women, commented: “This is not about politics, it’s about protecting vulnerable children from the irreversible harm of chemical and surgical mutilation.”

The organization continues to highlight stories through its “Identity Crisis” series. These narratives focus on the experiences of those affected by gender ideology.

Claire Abernathy, a detransitioner featured in “Identity Crisis,” recently appeared on The Ingraham Angle to discuss related issues.
