Heritage Foundation awards over $1 million in innovation prizes for 2025

The Heritage Foundation has announced the recipients of its annual “Innovation Prizes,” which distribute financial awards amounting to up to $1 million each year to nonprofits focused on results. The organizations receiving this year’s awards include the American College of Pediatricians, American Reformer, the Ben Franklin Fellowship, Do No Harm, Families Empowered, LifeWise Academy, Napa Legal Institute, the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, State Armor, Them Before Us, and Wired Human.

Dr. Kevin Roberts, president of The Heritage Foundation, praised these organizations for their efforts:

“This year’s Innovation Prize winners are doing what the Left fears most: telling the truth, defending the innocent, and rebuilding the institutions the radicals tried to burn down. These are not just conservative organizations—they’re the tip of the spear in the fight to save the country.”

Roberts emphasized that these groups are tackling significant issues such as restoring order in schools and standing up against Big Tech and other ideological challenges:

“Whether it’s restoring order to our schools, standing up for medical sanity, defending children from ideological predators or fighting back against totalitarian impulses of Big Tech and Chinese Communist Party—these groups are doing hard often thankless work to shape a future worthy of American people.”

He concluded by highlighting their contribution to a brighter future for America:

“America is entering a new Golden Age because of bold leaders like these. The Heritage Foundation is honored to support them as they chart course back common sense virtue strength.”

The awarded nonprofits focus on projects related to research, litigation, education outreach or communications with particular emphasis on empowering parents in education restoring digital sovereignty countering threat CCP putting family first.

This marks the fifth round of Heritage Innovation Prizes awarded by The Heritage Foundation’s endowment supporting innovative conservative projects. Last year’s recipients included several notable organizations working across various sectors.
