Freedom 250 announced that its traveling Mobile Museum, known as the “Freedom Trucks,” will make a stop in Phoenix, Arizona as part of preparations for the United States’ 250th anniversary.
The exhibit will be open to the public at the Maricopa County Fair at the Arizona State Fairgrounds, located at 1826 W. McDowell Road. Viewing times are scheduled for April 3, 4, 5, 9, 11, and 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on April 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
According to Freedom 250’s announcement, the Freedom Trucks provide an interactive exhibit designed for all ages and aim to bring American history directly into communities across the country. The mobile museum features custom-built exhibits with interactive technology, multimedia storytelling, and hands-on experiences highlighting America’s founding moments and ongoing innovation.
Julia Friedland, spokesperson for Freedom 250, said, “America’s 250th anniversary is a moment to reflect on where we’ve been and inspire the next generation about America’s glowing future. By bringing these interactive exhibits directly into Arizona, we’re making our nation’s history accessible, engaging, and a memorable experience, especially for children who will carry the American story forward.”
The Freedom Trucks are part of a broader initiative that includes upcoming events such as Rededicate 250, Great American State Fair, Memorial Day Parade and Evening Candlelight gathering, Sail4th 250, Salute to America, and Patriot Games. The tour will continue nationwide throughout 2026 as part of Semiquincentennial celebrations with additional stops planned through 2027.
