Freedom 250 announced the first wave of participants, performers, speakers, and featured activations for the Great American State Fair, a 16-day national exposition scheduled from June 25 through July 10, 2026, on the National Mall.
The event will bring together all 56 U.S. states and territories in a World’s Fair-style celebration of America’s 250th birthday. It will feature live entertainment, immersive exhibits, patriotic tributes, innovation showcases, cultural programming, and family-friendly attractions stretching from the U.S. Capitol to the Washington Monument. Mainstage performances by legendary artists are planned every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.

The performers, innovators, military heroes, and everyday Americans showcased here represent the very best of who we are, and the boundless opportunity ahead.”
Music icons scheduled include Martina McBride (June 25), C+C Music Factory (June 26), Vanilla Ice (June 26), Milli Vanilli (June 26), Young MC (June 26), The Commodores (June 27), Morris Day and The Time (June 27), Flo Rida (July 2), and Bret Michaels (July 3). Military performances will feature units such as the U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps and Army Downrange Rock among others.
Other highlights include screenings of National Treasure films; educational programming like Tuttle Twins; appearances by representatives from the National Medal of Honor Museum; health leaders; top innovators; a Ferris wheel overlooking the Mall; state showcases; robotics demonstrations; augmented reality activations; CEO-led conversations; daily themed programming celebrating history, innovation, culture, faith, service, education, wellness and more.
Admission is free with advance registration encouraged but not required. Media credential applications are open until June 5, 2026.
