Steve Cortes, founder of the League of American Workers, said that new polling demonstrates broad support for Donald Trump’s immigration agenda. The statement was made on X.

“TRUMP’S IMMIGRATION AGENDA: HUGELY POPULAR,” said Cortes. “This poll’s “supermajority numbers stand out. On this foundational issue of the America First agenda, we on the populist Right occupy the political, ethical, and legal high ground.”

U.S. public opinion on Trump’s immigration agenda in 2025 remains sharply divided, as executive actions like expanded deportations and birthright citizenship changes receive mixed reactions. According to an AP-NORC poll, about half of Americans support increased border security and deporting violent offenders, but only around 40 percent support deporting all undocumented migrants, highlighting continued partisan splits over Trump’s policies.

A June 2025 Pew Research Center poll found that 42 percent of U.S. adults approved of Trump’s handling of immigration, while 47 percent disapproved; among Republicans, support rose to 78 percent, while 81 percent of Democrats were opposed, showing a high level of polarization on the issue.

Gallup polling shows that support for allowing undocumented immigrants to remain in the U.S. and become citizens has grown from about 55 percent in 2020 to nearly 60 percent in 2025, while support for stricter deportation policies has decreased, indicating a shift toward more inclusive attitudes over recent election cycles.
