Steve Cortes, founder of the League of American Workers, has said that recent migrant violence in Poland underscores the need for strict border enforcement and support for mass deportations. This statement was made on the social media platform X.

“Wow. Even in a country as serious about borders as Poland, dangerous migrants can still inflict preventable pain,” said Cortes. “We must fully back Pres Trump’s agenda of border control + mass deportations from America. In Poland, incoming President Karol Nawrocki will defend his citizens!”

In June 2025, a Venezuelan national was arrested in Warsaw for a fatal stabbing, sparking intense political debate and calls for stricter border policies by Polish officials. According to Reuters, this incident prompted the Prime Minister to criticize European Union (EU) migrant policies and fueled nationwide protests.

Data from the Polish National Police, as reported by Notes from Poland, indicates that foreign nationals were suspects in approximately 4.7% of violent crimes in 2024, an increase from roughly 2% in 2019. However, overall migrant crime rates remain lower than the national average.

A report from the European Council in 2025 notes that Poland’s border enforcement is among the strictest within the EU. The country employs rapid deportations and physical barriers, while other nations like Germany and France focus more on asylum processing and temporary protections.

Cortes is also a senior political advisor to CatholicVote and has previously served as a senior advisor to President Trump and JD Vance. He is known for his commentary on Fox News and CNN and regularly releases documentaries and columns at cortesinvestigates.com.

According to its official website, the League of American Workers was founded in 2022 with a mission to support American workers by advocating for strict immigration controls, enhanced border security, and opposition to mass amnesty measures.
