Five organizations from Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Utah, and West Virginia were named as the first recipients of The Digital Chamber’s State Network grants at the DC Blockchain Summit on March 19. The program aims to support grassroots leaders who are advancing digital asset education, non-partisan policy development, and adoption at the state level.
The initiative comes as state governments play a growing role in shaping regulations for digital assets. By providing funding to local organizations working with policymakers and communities, The Digital Chamber’s State Network seeks to accelerate education and responsible blockchain adoption across the country.
“TDC’s State Network is about empowering grassroots leaders advocating for smart digital asset policy in their states,” said Anastasia Dellaccio, Executive Director of TDC’s State Network. “These organizations are on the front lines of digital asset policy development, and the work they are doing to develop sensible solutions at the state level is critical to the future of the industry nationwide.”
Each recipient received $2,000 to support projects that foster engagement between policymakers, industry leaders, and local communities. The selected organizations include Convergence Tech Policy Institute in Illinois; Maryland Blockchain Association; Detroit Blockchain Center in Michigan; Utah Blockchain Coalition; and West Virginia Blockchain Foundation. Their funded activities range from hosting legislative roundtables and technology receptions to organizing educational workshops and conferences focused on blockchain policy.
As these groups begin implementing their projects throughout 2026, The Digital Chamber’s State Network plans to continue supporting their efforts through collaboration and resources within the broader digital asset ecosystem.
