Family Research Council (FRC) and FRC Action are set to host the fourth annual Pray Vote Stand Summit in Washington, D.C., from October 3-6, 2024. The event will take place at the Omni Shoreham Hotel and will also be accessible online. This summit succeeds the Values Voter Summit as FRC Action’s primary gathering.

The summit aims to bring together Christians from across the country to pray for the nation, Israel, and the upcoming election. It will feature discussions on policy issues relevant to spiritually active, governance-engaged conservatives, with sessions led by political and theological experts. Topics include current events, U.S.-Israel relations, and global governance.

Tony Perkins, President of Family Research Council and Chairman of FRC Action, commented on the purpose of the event:

“The cultural warning lights are flashing brightly on our nation’s dashboard. America is in trouble. That’s why I’m calling on Christians to come to Washington, D.C., for the Pray Vote Stand Summit–not as spectators, but as participants appealing to heaven, asking God to rend the heavens and come down (Isaiah 64:1).

“In just the past two months, there have been two assassination attempts on former President Donald Trump. Violence has gripped our nation as lawlessness invades our streets and institutions. Neither political party is championing life or protections for the unborn. Israel–our longtime friend and ally in the Middle East–is approaching one year at war since the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks, and U.S. support is tepid.

“Only a return to God will heal our nation. This fall election is crucial, but it won’t solve our nation’s sin problem. It may even worsen it. The solution is deeper–it’s spiritual. We must restore a healthy reverence for God in our society, which will lead to respect for the lives of others and bring back the security and stability our country once knew,” concluded Perkins.

Speakers scheduled for this year’s summit include Michele Bachmann of Regent University; Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey; Dr. Ben Carson of American Cornerstone Institute; Mike Huckabee; Dr. Robby George from Princeton University; Steve Marshall, Alabama Attorney General; Dave Yost, Ohio Attorney General; Chad Wolf, former Acting Secretary of Homeland Security; Tony Perkins; Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Jerry Boykin; Jody Hice; among others.

A full list of speakers can be found at https://prayvotestand.org/speakers.

Attendance requires registration through https://prayvotestand.org/, where additional details about in-person and virtual participation are available.

FRC states that it sponsors only the educational portion of the event and does not sponsor any candidate appearances or endorse candidates for public office.
