The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced that policies supported by Eli Crane and Juan Ciscomani are increasing costs for Arizona families, according to a recent statement.

The committee said the ongoing war in Iran, which it described as approved by Crane and Ciscomani, is causing prices to rise on a wide range of goods. These include gas, health care, groceries, utilities, and products affected by tariffs introduced during the Trump administration.

According to the statement, “Thousands of everyday products reliant on crude oil are getting more expensive – from clothes and toys, to basic household items like laundry detergent.” The DCCC listed several categories facing price increases under what it called Crane and Ciscomani’s agenda: gas, food, furniture, fertilizer, auto parts, tires, clothes, toys, computer keyboards, makeup and nail polish, tennis rackets, contact lenses, detergent, gum, shoes, crayons, shaving cream, pillows, aspirin, umbrellas, pens, curtains and luggage.

The committee also said that both representatives voted repeatedly to protect tariffs that have resulted in American families paying over $1,700 more in higher costs. DCCC spokesperson Lindsay Reilly said: “Eli Crane and Juan Ciscomani don’t care about Arizona families paying more for everything they need to get by. While working people are stretched thin by rising costs on basics like gas, groceries and household essentials Crane and Ciscomani are dismissing them and standing by reckless policies driving prices even higher.”
