The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee questioned on whether Representatives Eli Crane and Juan Ciscomani agree with a recent statement by the White House chief economic advisor Kevin Hassett, who said that consumers hurting due to the war in Iran are “the last of our concerns.”

The issue arises as Arizonans face rising costs, higher gas prices, and uncertainty over retirement and savings accounts linked to the conflict in Iran. The DCCC highlighted these economic pressures in its statement.

According to the DCCC, “Eli Crane and Juan Ciscomani must answer: do you agree that the Iran War’s impact on the US economy is ‘the last of our concerns’?”

DCCC spokesperson Lindsay Reilly said, “Eli Crane and Juan Ciscomani’s message to Arizona families struggling with rising costs: don’t care, deal with it.”

No responses from Representatives Crane or Ciscomani were included in the announcement. Further details can be found on the official roster page.
