Washington, D.C. – David McIntosh, President of the Club for Growth, expressed his support following the House’s approval of H.R. 4, a $9 billion rescission package proposed by President Trump.

“President Trump and Republicans across all levels of government vowed in 2024 to reign in reckless spending and restore economic order in the United States. Tonight, conservatives on Capitol Hill made good on their promise,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “Club for Growth applauds every elected official who voted to save taxpayers $9 billion, and we look forward to the White House proposing similar pro-growth spending cuts in the future.”

The statement reflects the Club for Growth’s endorsement of fiscal measures aimed at reducing government expenditure.
