Club for Growth PAC has announced its endorsement of Mark Teixeira in the race for Texas’s 21st Congressional District. Teixeira, a former World Series Champion and entrepreneur, is seeking to succeed Representative Chip Roy, who is running for Texas Attorney General. The announcement also notes that former President Donald Trump has endorsed Teixeira.

“Mark Teixeira has demonstrated a deep understanding of economic policy through his experience paying taxes as a professional athlete and as an investor and entrepreneur,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Teixeira will take this insight to Capitol Hill and fight every day to lower taxes, cut red tape, and expand school freedom for Texans and Americans across the country. Club for Growth PAC is proud to support Mark Teixeira in the race, and we look forward to him serving as the next Congressman from Texas’s 21st district.”

Club for Growth PAC works with Club for Growth Action, which is described as the largest conservative Super PAC in the United States. In 2024, candidates supported by Club for Growth PAC won nearly four out of five elections they contested.
