Club for Growth PAC endorsed Attorney General Ken Paxton in the Texas U.S. Senate race after his runoff election victory, according to a May 27 announcement. Paxton will face James Talarico in the general election.

President Trump has also endorsed Paxton in the race. Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh said, “Texas is a conservative state and deserves a real conservative in the Senate. Ken Paxton has consistently stood up against Democrats and the establishment in Austin to defend the rule of law and freedoms for every Texan.”

McIntosh also commented on Talarico’s candidacy, saying, “Meanwhile, James Talarico is the weirdest candidate to run for U.S. Senate. He has spent his career promoting woke gender ideology, fighting against meat consumption, and opposing the values Texans cherish. The choice in November is clear: we must elect Ken Paxton.”

The statement included a link to an ad from Win It Back PAC highlighting aspects of Talarico’s campaign platform.

Club for Growth PAC is affiliated with Club for Growth Action and describes itself as the nation’s largest conservative Super PAC. In 2024, it reported that its endorsed candidates won 79% of their elections.
