Club for Growth PAC announced on March 31 its endorsement of Jim Kingston in the race for Georgia’s 1st Congressional District. Kingston is seeking to succeed Representative Buddy Carter, who has decided to run for the United States Senate.

The endorsement highlights Club for Growth PAC’s continued involvement in congressional races and signals support for candidates aligned with limited-government principles. The group says it aims to promote policies such as tax cuts and deregulation through its endorsements.

“Jim Kingston is a strong supporter of limited-government principles and will fight every day for Georgians on Capitol Hill,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “In Congress, Kingston will cut taxes, slash regulations, and promote competition in American industry. He is the perfect candidate for Georgia’s 1st District, and we are proud to support him in the race.”

Club for Growth PAC is affiliated with Club for Growth Action, which it describes as the nation’s largest conservative Super Political Action Committee (Super PAC). According to information released by the organization, Club for Growth PAC-endorsed candidates won 79% of their elections during the previous election cycle in 2024.

As this election cycle continues, observers may watch how endorsements from groups like Club for Growth PAC influence primary contests and general elections across competitive districts.
