State Senator Blake Miguez has received an endorsement from the Club for Growth PAC as he campaigns for Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District seat. Miguez is aiming to succeed Rep. Julia Letlow, who announced her intention to run for the U.S. Senate.

“Blake Miguez is a proven conservative fighter who has championed school freedom, lower taxes, and spending cuts during his time in the Louisiana state legislature,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Miguez is the perfect candidate to represent Louisiana’s 5th District on Capitol Hill, and Club for Growth PAC is proud to endorse him in the race.”

Miguez is also part of the Club for Growth Foundation’s 2025 Fellowship class. The organization noted that its affiliated Super PAC, Club for Growth Action, is recognized as one of the largest conservative political action committees in the country. In 2024, candidates endorsed by Club for Growth PAC won nearly four out of five races they entered.
