Club for Growth has launched a new advertising campaign in North Dakota, urging residents to contact Governor Kelly Armstrong and encourage him to participate in President Trump’s federal education freedom program. The advertisement was broadcast across the state on Sunday political programs to coincide with School Choice Week.

The campaign highlights a $1,700 tax credit for education scholarships that was established under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The initiative comes after Governor Armstrong vetoed legislation during the 2025 session that would have created education savings accounts for students in North Dakota.

The ad’s transcript states:

“Education Freedom is reshaping classrooms nationwide.

Putting parents in charge.

Helping our kids succeed in the right school for them.

President Donald Trump is leading the charge to provide education freedom to every American family.

And states are answering the call.

Opting in to Trump’s school choice plan.

A $1,700 tax credit to fund education scholarships.

Tell Governor Armstrong: Stand up for North Dakota kids.

Don’t miss out on President Trump’s education freedom scholarships.”

According to Club for Growth, the purpose of the ad is to mobilize public support and encourage policy changes at the state level regarding educational choice initiatives. The group seeks greater parental control over children’s schooling options through expanded scholarship opportunities and participation in federal programs tied to school choice measures.
