In Washington, D.C., the Club for Growth PAC has announced its endorsement of Senator Pete Ricketts for reelection in Nebraska’s 2026 U.S. Senate race. This announcement was highlighted in an exclusive report by Andrew Howard in Politico’s Morning Score newsletter.

David McIntosh, President of the Club for Growth PAC, expressed strong support for Ricketts: “Sen. Ricketts has demonstrated time and time again, both on Capitol Hill and in Lincoln, that he is the ideal candidate to defend Cornhusker values.” McIntosh emphasized Ricketts’ fiscal conservatism and his consistent support for former President Trump’s agenda.

Ricketts is expected to face Dan Osborn, a self-proclaimed independent who previously lost to Senator Deb Fischer by nearly seven points in the 2024 general election. The endorsement marks the first Senate endorsement of the 2026 cycle by Club for Growth PAC.

Club for Growth PAC is associated with Club for Growth Action, recognized as the largest conservative Super PAC in the nation. In 2024, candidates endorsed by Club for Growth PAC won 79% of their elections.

The endorsement comes amid Osborn’s entry into the race and highlights Club for Growth PAC’s continued influence in conservative political circles.
