U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced on Mar. 27 that it will host its Spring Virtual Career Expo on March 31 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Time, seeking applicants for positions throughout the agency.

The expo is aimed at recruiting individuals interested in contributing to the agency’s mission of protecting Americans and securing national borders.

During the virtual event, CBP employees will share information about their work experiences and answer questions from attendees via live chat in job-specific booths. Interested participants are required to register online, with full registration due by March 27 to participate in the event.

CBP is looking to fill thousands of critical roles at all levels within the organization. Federal hiring regulations apply, including a requirement for U.S. citizenship. Details about specific job openings can be found on careers.cbp.gov.

The agency highlights opportunities for training, competitive pay, and benefits designed to support career growth and advancement. New officers and agents may qualify for up to $60,000 in incentive payments at certain locations.
