Since its founding in 1993, the Catholic University Journal of Law and Technology (JLT), previously known as CommLaw Conspectus, has provided articles on communications law, information privacy law, and intellectual property law. The journal is published twice a year.

JLT maintains a working relationship with the Federal Communications Commission and other federal policymakers. Its members also collaborate with the Catholic University Law & Technology Institute. This institute offers seminars, courses, and externships that help prepare law students for careers in communications law, information privacy law, and intellectual property law through opportunities in government agencies, industry roles, public interest organizations, and private practice.

The editorial board of Volume 34 congratulated the incoming Executive Editorial Board for Volume 35.
