The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) has released a statement supporting former President Donald Trump’s stance on election security. The statement comes from Kenneth Blackwell, Chair for Election Integrity at AFPI.

“President Trump is right in saying that our elections will NEVER be secure so long as we have widespread use of mail-in ballots. With rare exception, mass mail-in voting is a recipe for fraud and chaos. Other nations recognize this, and many abandoned this broken system decades ago. The United States of America is the greatest nation in the world, and our electoral system should set the global standard for security and transparency.

We cannot stand idly by while our sacred right to vote is subverted. The America First Policy Institute is proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with President Trump in this fight to restore voter confidence in our elections, end the mail-in ballot scheme, and restore honesty and integrity to America’s democratic process.

This is not just a policy fight. This is a fight for the survival of our republic. President Trump should be applauded for leading the charge to ensure that every American’s vote matters and is not undermined by corruption,” Blackwell said.

The statement reflects ongoing debates over election methods in the United States, particularly regarding the use of mail-in ballots. While some policymakers argue that expanding access to voting through mail-in ballots increases participation, others have raised concerns about potential vulnerabilities related to election integrity.
